This chart form SAI was just hugely validating for some design priorities I’ve had since we started designing AnyClip: Sure we can use ShareThis, Gigya, or AddThis button on the site, but we’re sure as hell designing a custom, highly integrated smooth and enjoyable way to share content via Facebook, Twitter, and Email…

Guys at blip: pay attention.

I’m not sure if I agree.  At least not yet.  From a brand’s perspective, how do we know how valuable a Digg or Yahoo loyalist  is versus a Facebook loyalist?  Depending on the audience we want to reach,  we just can’t ignore some of the semi-popular sharing sites until proper measurement is done around that audience.  One Yahoo person that shares a piece of brand content that leads directly to a purchase is potentially more valuable than 20 people sharing brand content that leads nowhere.

Survival of the fittest will eventually solve this for us.  Or better measurement.  But we’re not there yet.
